This amazing gadget, when used in conjunction with the free app, can be used to transform your smart phone or tablet into a bat detector.

As well as listening to the bat calls, the bat detector will also allow you to see the sonograms in real time, record them so you can analyse them at a later date and will even identify the most likely species of bats present, based on the calls recorded.

Featured on Springwatch, this fantastic piece of technology is great for beginners and experienced bat enthusiasts alike.

Echo Meter Touch 2 is designed to plug directly into ANDROID devices with a micro-USB connector types can be used with third-party adapters.

Requirements: • Android OS version 6.0 or later. • An OS version later than 6.0 is not a guarantee that the device is compatible, see the list below. • At least 1 GB of total RAM. • OTG compatibility. There are many free apps that can check such as OTG?. • A micro-USB connector or a USB-C connector (USB-C requires an adapter, see section below). Notes: • If a device is not listed, that does not mean it does not work. It means that we do not yet have enough information to know if it works correctly with the Echo Meter Touch 2. There are thousands of Android devices so we cannot test everything. • The compatibility list is subject to change. As devices become older, they may have increased difficulty running EMT with newer versions of OS. We do not guarantee compatibility with the list below, but we are happy to offer a full refund on return of the detector.
